Dr. Oliver Behler
Dr. Oliver Behler founded the firm in 2003. The goal was to form a boutique practice with experts specialised in commercial litigation, with a particular focus on bankruptcy matters.
For more than 10 years Dr. Behler has been representing clients in local, district and appellate courts throughout Germany in a wide spectrum of cases. He has argued more than 60 appeals and has brought 9 cases to the Supreme Court of Germany.
Dr. Behler represents prominent German bankruptcy administrators, for whom he has successfully persuaded courts to overturn rulings on the duty of disclosure relating to state authorities and health insurance funds (see ZIP 2008, 1542).
He also represents banks, corporate entities, private clients and sport clubs.
As both a crisis management strategist and a seasoned appellate and commercial litigation lawyer, Dr. Behler has extensive experience in handling high-profile bankruptcy litigation, white-collar-crime relations and media issues. He routinely advises clients in planning their responses to crises and other bankruptcy related legal issues that can pose a severe financial burden.
